My love of photography began when I signed up for Journalism classes in high school and my teacher said we needed a photographer
for the yearbook and school paper. As I was leaving the class my teacher handed me the camera and told me give it my
best shot. I knew NOTHING about the camera at that time. Needless to say, I was scared yet, excited by the challenge.
Later I was offered a photography scholarship so, I must have been a quick learner. Also since that time, just try to
pry the camera out of my hand!
Over the years I've worked at Olan Mills and my love of photography earned me the name of Mamarazzi from my children.
I first got into wedding photography by accident. My neice was getting married on a tight budget and had seen my photographs
and was impressed enough to ask me to photograph her wedding.
My husband and partner also shares my love of photography and all though he is always been an amature until we started
this business he is now a published photographer with his award winning photograph "Fire lily with bee" being published
in 'The International Library of Photography'. I've included it and another sample of his work below and to
the side.
